What makes working in the dental industry challenging?

Digital Imaging.


What has been the highlight during your time at Dental IT?

Just one? Ireland, it was great to go away with the team.


What’s the best thing about working at Dental IT?

Good working environment.


How has COVID-19 affected your work?

Greatly, the first lockdown was a shock to the system, but once that passed things started getting really busy.


What has been the hardest thing to learn in your role?

Phones, when I started it wasn't my strongest area of expertise, but now my confidence has grown along with my skills.


What do you like about working in Sheffield and Hathersage?

I love getting away into Hathersage for a change of scenery. I love the access I get to IT equipment at our Sheffield office.


What's the most exciting technology you work with?

Unifi, as it massively improves peoples internet and WiFi.


What's the funniest query/problem you have had on the helpdesk?

Can you send this email for me... all I had to do was press send.


What's the hardest problem you have had to work on?

Server down, data recovery, restore.


What's the longest night you have ever worked and why?

2/3am.


And finally, tell us something about you that we might not know?

I'm the only person in Sheffield who has heard of Toffee Poppers.
