If you rely on the availability of your IT infrastructure, you should have a support contract. Having a support contract in place means that we will respond promptly to any issues that arise; we take ownership of your IT problems, and manage them through to resolution. Furthermore, Dental IT Limited’s support contracts are unique in the dental marketplace in offering not only reactive support, but proactive management and maintenance of your IT infrastructure; we can handle all your system upgrades, monitor your network for impending failures, and very often, deal with issues before they become a problem for your business – sometimes even before you notice them!
We offer support for all of your core IT equipment; the server, the workstations, printers, scanners, switches, firewalls, backup devices, and operating systems running on them. You can choose to have just your server supported, or just your server and your workstations, or you can choose to have everything under support. We recommend that, at the very least, you should have support for your server, as this is by far the most important machine on your network.
Our office hours are 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday, and issues will need to be raised with us within these hours. However, we will work 24x7 to resolve service-affecting issues such as server downtime, should the need arise. Also, much of our maintenance work is carried out in the evenings or at weekends, to avoid disruption to your business. Our remote monitoring service is 24x7, and our engineers are alerted to major service issues at all times. Therefore, we can often resolve problems that occur over a weekend, before you even come in on a Monday morning.
With this service, Dental IT Limited monitor your server and network 24x7x365, and are aware of any developing or service affecting issues that arise on your server or network. This allows us to proactively manage your IT, pre-empting problems before they cause downtime or data loss, and helping to ensure the ongoing, trouble-free operation of your systems and network. It is key to our ability to maintain your IT in good order well into the next 3-5 years following an installation or upgrade, and we recommend its take-up.

This facility backs up your critical data (and any other data you would like to have included) across broadband, daily, to a secure data centre, to system accounts which we manage and monitor. All data is encrypted in transit, and is held securely, and confidentially.
