We will spend time with you to understand your operational and business drivers, identifying the best use of hardware and software to ensure you meet your objectives faster and more effectively. We scope out an IT strategy that meets both current and future requirements.

This covers:

  • your backup system: is it reliable, automated, verifiable?
  • your server: Is it fit for purpose, robust and reliable?
  • your network: Is it fast and stable, so your practice management software is able to perform to the maximum?
  • your workstations: Are they well maintained, up to date, secure?
  • your internet access: Is this being used effectively? Is the network secure, and protected from virus or other attack?
  • your email, sms and other messaging systems: Are they effectively integrated to improve internal and external communications?
  • NHS software: If you are an NHS or mixed practice, are you benefiting from the free and discounted software available?
  • other software: Besides your practice management software, are your other applications effectively integrated and backed up? If you use Sage, or Quickbooks, are you backing them up?
  • your digital radiography and other imaging systems: Are they properly integrated to your practice management software? Is this data being backed up?
  • printing and scanning: Are you using the most appropriate scanning and printing technologies?

We will also listen to your IT issues and questions and advise accordingly.
