The cameras are available in low and high resolution versions, and the live images can be viewed from any workstation in the practice. Out of hours motion detection and notification can also be enabled, to automatically record any activity.

The cameras can be mounted anywhere in the practice, and require a dedicated CAT5 extension to the unit. The camera can be powered from a PoE (Power over Ethernet) connection, which requires a special Power over Ethernet switch. The software to monitor the images can be installed on any machine, for example a back-office machine, or at the Practice Manager’s station. The images can even be viewed remotely, across the Internet, if required.

External cameras are also available, as well as PTZ (pan, tilt and zoom) cameras, and dome cameras. Audio can also be recorded.
