Dedicated Servers

Your server is at the absolute core of your network. A well-specified dedicated server will ensure business continuity, and will provide you with increased reliability, security and system predictability.

This brings the following benefits:

  • Your system will be available for immediate use, when you and your staff come in every morning.
  • You are much less likely to suffer data loss.
  • The system as a whole will be faster and more powerful, which means less frustrating delays using your key applications and systems.
  • You are much less likely to suffer security lapses, and breaches of confidentiality.
  • You can benefit from much greater flexibility in your IT network, with better access to data across the network.
  • You can recover from any system or workstation failures much quicker.

Dental IT Ltd recommend the installation of high end HP Proliant servers, equipped with dedicated backup software, UPS power protection, and multiple redundant hard drives for resilience. The server hardware is backed up by a 3 year onsite warranty (next business day onsite). The build quality and reliability of your server is fundamental to the stability, predictability and performance of your network. The servers are available in tower and rackmount configurations, depending on whether the infrastructure will be standalone or based around a server cabinet.

Dental IT Limited networks are configured to industry standards, including full physical installation, cabinet and cable dressing, a full Windows domain, Power and UPS configuration, Roaming Profiles, Internet integration, Exchange setup where required, application integration and rollout, local backup configuration and testing, permissions and accounts configuration, WSUS and workstation updates, security software installation, SNMP and monitoring setup, remote backup setup, printing and scanning installation, remote access configuration, firewall and networking configuration, customisation and management scripts, group policy and credentials setup.
